About Wogi

Wogi is a small, independent product that gives dog owners one deliberate thing to do with their dog each day.

Why it exists

Most people who get a dog want to do right by it, and then run into the same wall: there is an enormous amount of advice available, almost all of it aimed at someone with more time, and no obvious way to turn any of it into what you should do this afternoon.

Wogi exists to close that gap. Instead of another library to read, it gives you a small number of specific missions for today, chosen for your dog’s age, energy level and training level. The bet is that a dog does better with one deliberate ten-minute thing every day than with a burst of good intentions every few weeks.

How it works

You add your dog, answer a few questions about them, and each morning Wogi selects that day’s missions from a catalogue of eighty-five, across five categories: obedience, exercise, socialization, health and bonding. You mark them done as you go, and the app tracks streaks, experience and progress over time so you can see the effect of the ordinary days adding up.

The guides on this site cover the same material, free and without an account, for anyone who would rather work through it themselves.

Who makes it

Wogi is built and run by a single founder, based in Canada. There is no team, no investors, and no call centre — messages sent to the address below reach the person who wrote the code.

That is a deliberate limitation as much as a boast. It means the product moves in small steps, and it means feedback from owners actually changes what gets built next.

How it makes money

Wogi is free to use, with no trial and no card required. A paid plan, Wogi Premium, adds the socialization and health categories, unlimited dogs, the full history of your progress, every achievement, and removes advertising.

The free plan is supported by advertising. We would rather say that plainly than bury it: ads appear inside the app for people on the free plan, they are labelled, and they are never placed inside a training session. Subscribers do not see them at all.

A word on the advice here

These guides are written to be practical and honest, and they reflect mainstream, force-free training practice. They are not veterinary advice. Wogi does not diagnose anything, and the health guide is explicitly about noticing changes early so that a vet can look at them sooner — not about treating anything at home.

If something about your dog worries you, the right move is a vet, not an app.
